🔥 PREMIUM GENERAL ULTRASOUND TECH CONTRACT – SONOMA WINE COUNTRY – 5x8 DAYS
First Connect Health is seeking a versatile General Ultrasound Technologist for an immediate 13-week travel assignment in scenic Healdsburg, California. This position features a highly predictable, traditional daytime schedule within a tightly knit community hospital setting managing a manageable daily census of approximately 10 cases. 💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE
- Weekly Gross: $2,585.00
- Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,625.00
- Hourly W2 Rate: $24.00/hr
- Overtime Rate: $36.00/hr
📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Day shifts, 5x8-Hours (08:00 AM - 16:30 PM). Monday through Friday framework. No block scheduling available.
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 regular hours weekly.
- On-Call Requirements: Yes, rotational call coverage is required, including alternating weekend blocks.
- Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend schedule rotation (09:00 AM - 21:00 PM).
- EMR & Charting System: Epic charting is required. Hardware infrastructure utilizes GE scanning technology integrated with PACS networks.
- Comprehensive Scanning Scope: Multi-system clinical competency across:
- General & Small Parts: Abdominal aorta, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, spleen, hernias, testicles/scrotum, thyroid, superficial masses, and breast ultrasound/pediatric abdomen/pelvis.
- OB/GYN & Renal: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-trimester scans, amniotic fluid indexing, fetal anatomical surveys, ovaries, uterus, and transvaginal tracking.
- Vascular & Procedures: Carotid and upper/lower extremity arterial Doppler studies, along with ultrasound guidance for paracentesis and thoracentesis.
🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent clinical hospital sonography experience. Community hospital backgrounds are highly preferred, and prior Trauma Level I exposure is a preferred asset.
- Licensure: Active California State credentials must be verified and provided in full at the time of submission (pending state paperwork cannot be accepted).
- Certifications Required: ARDMS (registered in at least 1 category) and active AHA BLS are strictly required.
