Description
Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) – Travel Assignment
Location: Oregon, MO
Start Date: 07/27/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Setting: Long-Term Care (LTC)/Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of OTA experience
- LTC or SNF experience required
- Active Missouri OTA license required
- New graduates accepted if they have completed a Level II clinical rotation (Level I observation only is not accepted)
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation programs.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
- Document treatments accurately in the electronic medical record.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy plans.
- Participate in care meetings and required training.
- Follow all state licensing, NBCOT, and AOTA practice standards.

Staff constantly switched. My documents weren't sent to the school, resulting in a months lost pay. It is IMPOSSIBLE to get on touch with anyone to answer questions. I have been attempting to reach them for over a month with absolutely no response! They lose paperwork (tests, immunizations, background checks and fingerprints) resulting in even more lost work.
