PREMIUM CVOR TECHNOLOGIST CONTRACT – 3x12 DAYS – STABLE WEEKEND SCHEDULE

 

We are seeking a highly experienced, Certified Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Tech for an immediate 13-week travel assignment. Operating within a massive, elite clinical environment, this position is tailored for top-tier tech professionals fully capable of scrubbing complex open-heart, aortic dissection, and transplant cases completely independently. Enjoy a highly predictable Friday through Sunday weekend schedule and an exceptional tax-free stipend structure.

 

Please note: While previous travel contract experience is preferred, first-time travel candidates will be proudly considered IF they possess verified, robust Level I Trauma Center experience.

 

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

  • Schedule: Day shifts, 3x12-Hours (06:30 AM - 19:00 PM), Friday through Sunday. Stable weekend block! No weekday regular shift tracking.
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours guaranteed weekly.
  • On-Call Requirements: Heavy call commitment required: 90 to 120 hours of mandatory call coverage inside every 6-week schedule block, spanning rotating nights, holidays, and department operational tracks.
  • Clinical Environment: a premier, highly advanced Level I Trauma Center and leading Teaching Hospital.
  • Surgical Scope & Procedures: Extensive, elite cross-coverage across complex tracks. Core requirements include Heart & Lung Transplant procedures, Valve Replacements, Aortic Dissections, Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts (CABG), and Ventricular Assist Devices (VAD). Additional coverage spans advanced Vascular/Thoracic lines: AAA repairs, Carotid Endarterectomies, TEVAR, EVAR, TAVR, VATS, and pericardial windows.

📋 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

  • Hardstop Experience Rules: Minimum 2 years of consecutive clinical experience strictly in Cardiovascular surgery [REQUIRED]. Must have an absolute minimum of 1 year of dedicated Level I Trauma Center experience [HARDSTOP].
  • Submission Mandate: Please provide 2–3 days of clear interview availability directly upon profile submittal to maintain processing priority.
  • Vaccine Mandate: COVID-19 vaccination is not required; Flu vaccination is strictly required [REQUIRED] (Medical/Religious exemptions only).
  • Certifications Required: Verifiable NBSTSA (CST) certification is strictly required [REQUIRED]. Active AHA BLS [REQUIRED].

All candidates must be completely competent to receive pump lines from perfusion and prepare them for cannulation independently, while seamlessly managing complex heart and lung transplant cases alongside the surgical team. ⏱️ Recent Case Recency Requirement: To successfully pass the automatedcscreening, your profile history must display active, dedicated high-acuity cardiovascular surgery and thoracic case tracking within your recent acute care background. 📞 Comprehensive Call Expectations: This premier position requires a dedicated, structured call volume of 90–120 hours per 6-week cycle, ensuring emergency transplant and trauma tracks are seamlessly covered outside regular shift blocks. 🎓 Allied Traveler Compliance Clearances: While certain local nursing assignment restrictions exist within the broader health network, Allied Health Professionals (including CVOR Techs) are 100% fully exempt from state contract cut-off limits and are cleared for immediate, long-term travel contract processing.
