🔥 HIGH-COMPENSATION EP TECH CONTRACT – LEVEL 1 TRAUMA CENTER – 10-HOUR DAYS
First Connect Health is seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist for an immediate 13-week travel assignment in Peoria, Illinois. Operating within a busy, advanced Level 1 Trauma setting, this department runs 2 procedure rooms handling a specialized volume of 5 to 10 clinical cases per day. 💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE
- Weekly Gross: $3,925.00
- Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,245.00
- Hourly W2 Rate: $67.00/hr
- Overtime Rate: $100.50/hr
- Based on 40 Regular Hours weekly (4x10-Hour Shifts).
📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Day shifts, 4x10-Hours. Monday through Friday operational framework.
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours guaranteed weekly (Guaranteed hours do not apply during the initial 12-hour orientation period).
- On-Call & Weekend Requirements: Minimal rotational weekend call obligations. Scheduled call is limited to Saturdays only from 08:00 AM - 01:00 PM on a rotating basis.
- EMR & Charting System: Epic.
- Unit Pacing & Breakdown: A tight-knit department composed of 11 employees, including 4 Electrophysiologists, 5 techs, and 6 RNs. Runs 2 dedicated procedure rooms averaging 5 to 10 total cases daily.
- Core Role Duties: Operating under sterile technique to assist physicians with arteriograms and specialized radiologic diagnostic/treatment procedures. Prepares examination areas, manages patient positioning, operates complex radiology hardware, and passes sterile materials or takes exposures as directed.
🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Experience: Minimum 2 years (24 months) of recent clinical acute care experience operating inside an EP or high-volume Special Procedures Cath Lab environment.
- Licensure: Active Illinois State License (IEMA) or clear, verifiable confirmation that the state application process has already been initiated.
- Certifications Required: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) core registration and active AHA BLS certification are strictly required.
