Pay Package (Travel)
- Weekly Gross: $2,402.00
- Weekly Taxable: $792.00
- Weekly Non-Taxable: $1,610.00
Local Pay Rate
- $60.00/hour
Schedule
- Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 3x12-hour shifts
- 36 guaranteed hours/week
- Every other weekend + holidays as needed
- 48-hour guarantee NOT available for this position
- OT worked at regular rate (no multiplier)
- Charge differential: $3.00/hour
⚠️ Critical Requirements — Read Before Submitting
- Charge experience is MANDATORY — do not submit without it
- PCU/progressive care experience strongly required — adaptive acuity unit; travelers WILL be asked to provide PCU-level care (1:3 ratio) on occasion; this is non-negotiable and cannot be refused
- Drip experience required — must have experience with Insulin drips, Esmolol drips, and Sodium drips
- Minimum 3 months prior travel experience required — non-negotiable
- All RTO must be submitted at time of upload — no RTO requests accepted after submission or at interview; max 5 days RTO (less preferred)
- Traveler must have their own vehicle
- 48-hour guarantee will NOT be considered
- Traveler must have voicemail set up and be reachable by phone

- Med/Surg Tele: 1:5
- PCU (adaptive acuity): 1:3
Unit Overview
Springfield Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital offering 24-hour emergency care, general surgery, hospitalist program, and comprehensive inpatient/outpatient services. The IPCU is an adaptive acuity unit managing both Med/Surg Tele and PCU-level patients. Services include specialty clinics for cardiology and oncology in collaboration with Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of current Med/Surg Tele experience
- Charge nurse experience (mandatory)
- PCU/Progressive Care experience (strongly required)
- Drip experience: Insulin, Esmolol, and Sodium drips (required)
- ICU experience (strongly preferred)
- Small critical access facility experience (preferred)
- Willingness to float to any inpatient unit within scope of practice
Required Certifications
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
Required Licensure
- Vermont RN License or Compact license
