Cath Lab Tech – Cath/EP/Peripheral Vascular
Schedule
5x8 day shifts, Monday-Friday, 40 hrs/week (four 10s considered if preferred). One "late shift" per week — if working an 8hr shift, that means 9am until scheduled cases are complete. Local candidates accepted.
Call Requirements
STEMI call: 1 night/week, plus 1 weekend every 6th week or so. No scheduled weekend cases unless on STEMI call.
Unit Details
- Runs 4-5 labs daily: Cath, EP, Peripheral Vascular, and Hybrid
- Techs scrub all procedures and manage C-arm positioning/collimation per physician direction
- Case types: Diagnostic, PCI, IABP, Impella, pacemakers, ICDs, AFib ablations, PVC, SVT, and more
- Techs do not monitor procedures — room staffing is 1 RT (scrub) + 2 RNs (monitor/circulator), including during STEMI call
- No duties required outside the cath lab
Equipment/Systems
- 4 labs on Philips Azurion, 1 lab on Siemens Artis Z
- EMR: Epic
- Hemodynamics (Cath + Vascular): Change Healthcare (McKesson)
