Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery with 2+ years of acute care experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to mothers during labor, delivery, recovery, and the immediate postpartum period while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality maternal and newborn care. Candidates should possess strong clinical judgment and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers during labor, delivery, recovery, and the immediate postpartum period.
• Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs, promptly identifying and responding to changes in patient condition.
• Assist physicians and the healthcare team during vaginal and cesarean deliveries while administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

• Valid NY State RN license
• Most updated Resume
• NRP Certified through AHA
• ACLS Certified through AHA
• BLS Certified through AHA
• COVID Vaccination card
