Description

Specialty: OR RN – Circulator
Shift: Mid Shift (11:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Requirements

Operating Room (OR) experience required
OR Circulator experience required
Active Texas RN License or Compact RN License
BLS (AHA) certification required
BSN preferred
Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

Provide perioperative nursing care utilizing the nursing process
Perform patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Serve as the circulating nurse during surgical procedures
Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patient response
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care
Educate patients and families regarding surgical care
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
Delegate tasks appropriately and manage clinical situations independently

Recent OR Circulator experience
Strong clinical judgment and organizational skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced operating room environment
