Position Type: Contract (Travel)
Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (Transplant)
Target Start Date: 07-27-2026
Shift: Days (07:00 - 19:30)
Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts. Must work Weekend Days (Saturday and Sunday) plus one rotating weekday.
On-Call & Holiday: Call and holiday coverage is required.

Required Qualifications & Unit Details
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of TRANSPLANT experience is a strict requirement (HARD STOP). First-time travelers are accepted only if they possess this strong 2-year transplant background.
Case Types: The unit solely performs Abdominal Transplants (Kidney, Pancreas, Liver, Intestinal/Multi-visceral).
- Note: Pediatric transplants done at Riley are not for travelers.
Local/State Rule: Indiana (IN) residents are generally not accepted.
- Exception: While IU Health has a strict rule against IN RNs working at their facilities, Periop/OR RNs are exempt and allowed to work past the deadline. However, all Periop IN RNs will have a bill rate that is $15 less.
