Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – CCU / ICU (Travel)
Location: Albany, GA 31701
Shift Timing: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 12-Hour Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend | 48 Hours Guaranteed per Week
Contract Duration: 17 Weeks with possible extension
Start Date: ASAP
Job Type: Travel (radius rule 75 miles)
Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU) at an acute care hospital in Albany, GA. This opportunity is ideal for critical care nurses with strong experience managing high-acuity cardiac patients, including post-cardiac catheterization interventions, STEMI cases, post-code care, and complex ICU patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill cardiac and ICU patients.
- Monitor and assess patients following cardiac catheterization procedures and interventions.
- Manage patients with STEMI, post-code recovery, and other high-acuity cardiac conditions.
- Care for medical and surgical ICU patients when required due to patient census.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products according to physician orders.
- Operate and monitor advanced critical care equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Accurately document patient care using MEDITECH.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection prevention standards, and patient safety protocols.

Qualifications
- Active RN license (required at submission).
- Minimum 2 years of recent CCU/ICU experience.
- At least one previous travel assignment is required.
- AHA - BLS,ACLS,NIHSS
- Must comply with the facility's 75-mile radius restriction.
