Medical ICU (MICU) RN – Nights

Position Details

• Specialty: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
• Shift: Nights | 3x12s | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Hospital Size: 100-bed hospital
• Unit Size: 6-bed Medical ICU

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Experience caring for:
  • Adult medical ICU patients
  • Adult surgical ICU patients
  • Cardiac ICU patients
  • Pediatric patients with medical conditions
• Travel experience preferred
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate

Required Certifications

• ✅ BLS
• ✅ ACLS
• ✅ NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• ✅ PALS

EMR Requirement

• Epic experience within the last 12 months is required
• Epic experience must be clearly documented on the candidate's profile, including where it was used

Floating

• Required to float as needed based on staffing and patient care needs

Ideal Candidate

• Strong critical care assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Comfortable managing high-acuity adult ICU patients
• Able to care for pediatric medical patients when required
• Flexible and team-oriented
