Breakdown – Physical Therapist (PT)

• Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
• Location: Oklahoma
• Shift: Day Shift (8 Hours)
• Schedule: 35 Guaranteed Hours/Week
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks (91 Days)
• On-Call: None
• Weekends: None

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience
• New graduates accepted (must have completed a Level II clinical rotation; Level I observation only is not accepted)
• Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation experience required
• Active Oklahoma PT License required

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with physical impairments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide rehabilitation services and wound care
• Perform manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, gait training, and use of assistive devices
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans
• Document patient care in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers
• Prepare discharge summaries
• Participate in care conferences, utilization reviews, and rehabilitation meetings
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), rehabilitation aides, and students
• Follow APTA guidelines and Oklahoma state practice regulations
