PREMIUM CARDIAC CATH LAB RN CONTRACT – 4x9 DAYS – STEADY DAY SCHEDULE

 

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate 13-week travel assignment. Operating within a high-acuity acute care setting in West Valley, UT, this position is tailored for elite interventional cardiology professionals fully capable of managing complex diagnostic, interventional, and device implant procedures completely independently. Please note: This facility utilizes a highly efficient 4x9-hour shift structure, allowing you to maximize your daytime hours while securing a full 36-hour weekly guarantee.

 

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

  • Schedule: Day shifts, 4x9-Hours (07:00 AM - 16:30 PM). No block scheduling.
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours guaranteed weekly. The hospital reserves the policy right to cancel a maximum of 4 shifts per 13-week assignment based on seasonal census fluctuations.
  • On-Call Requirements: Standard on-call rotation tracking is strictly required [REQUIRED]. Must be prepared to cover rotating weeknight, weekend, and holiday emergency call shifts to support 24/7 STEMI alert responses.
  • EMR System: Epic charting system required.
  • Clinical Environment: Modernized interventional cardiac suite managing diverse adult and geriatric populations requiring emergency and elective cardiovascular procedures.
  • Clinical Scope & Competencies: Comprehensive care management spanning across all procedural stages. Core duties include pre-procedural preparation, intra-procedural sedation monitoring/circulating, and post-procedural recovery. Case varieties typically include diagnostic catheterizations, PCI/angioplasty, stenting, thrombectomies, and cardiac device implantations.

📋 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

  • Hardstop Experience Rules: Minimum 2 years of consecutive clinical experience strictly as a Cardiac Cath Lab RN [REQUIRED]. Must possess explicit, verifiable expertise managing high-acuity interventional tracks and sterile fields. First-time travel nurses are proudly accepted, provided they satisfy all core experience markers.
  • Licensure Required: Active, unrestricted Utah (UT) state nursing licensure or an active multistate Compact license must be fully in-hand at submittal [HARDSTOP]. Pending credentials cannot be considered to support rapid credentialing.
