PREMIUM RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST CONTRACT – EVENINGS – MULTI-CAMPUS 7-ON/7-OFF MATRIX
We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled Radiologic Technologist (ARRT-R) for an immediate 12-week travel assignment. Operating across an active general X-ray and surgical imaging network in Bryan, TX, this position is tailored for elite imaging professionals who excel in high-volume acute environments. Enjoy a highly lucrative 7-on/7-off mid-day/evening schedule that offers a built-in mix of 36-hour and 48-hour workweeks with premium tax-free stipends.
Please note: This position operates under a strict multi-campus coverage model. The clinician will act as the "First to Float" between the Bryan and College Station hospital campuses (situated just 16 minutes apart) to safely balance real-time departmental census and surgical demands.
📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Mid-day/Evening rotation running 13:00 PM - 01:00 AM on a rigid 7-Days On / 7-Days Off template (Thursday through Wednesday). No block scheduling variations.
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours guaranteed weekly. Because of the 7-on/7-off rotation, your scheduling architecture naturally scales from 36 hours one week to 48 hours the next week.
- On-Call Requirements: Standard departmental call tracking is strictly required [REQUIRED]. The fixed call requirement consists of 2 dedicated day shifts per month starting at 06:30 AM and running through 07:00 AM the following morning.
- Call Response Time: A strict 30-minute maximum call response and arrival time is enforced for all emergency call-ins.
- EMR & PACS Platforms: Meditech EMR charting paired with Synapse PACS network routing.
- Clinical Footprint & Volume: High-volume general radiology tract processing an average of 123 exams per day across 4 dedicated x-ray rooms, 5 mobile C-arms, and 2 specialized fluoroscopy surgical suites.
- Clinical Scope: X-ray only. No multi-modality scanning is required. Daily responsibilities center on general diagnostic X-rays, specialized fluoroscopy studies, and active intraoperative surgical support. Radiologists are on-site daily from 07:30 AM - 17:00 PM. Peripheral IV starts are rarely required.
📋 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Hardstop Experience Rules: Minimum 2 years of consecutive clinical experience strictly as an acute care Radiologic Tech [REQUIRED]. Candidates must be highly self-motivated and show strong surgical competence.
- Attendance Policy: Unscheduled absences or call-outs are strongly discouraged and serve as a direct ground for immediate contract termination [HARDSTOP].
- Certifications Required: Verifiable Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) credential and active Texas Department of Health (TDH) radiology licensure are strictly required upon submission [HARDSTOP]. In Texas, an active state rad tech license automatically covers fluoroscopy privileges. Active AHA BLS is strictly required [HARDSTOP].
- Scrubs Mandate: Travel technologists must provide their own professional attire adhering strictly to facility color codes: Solid Black scrubs.
