PREMIUM LONG-TERM CARE / SKILLED NURSING RN CONTRACT – 3x12 DAYS – BALANCED RESIDENT CARE
We are seeking a highly compassionate, experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate 13-week travel assignment in Garrison, ND. Operating within a stable, 26-bed Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing environment, this position is tailored for dedicated gerontological professionals fully capable of directing floor workflows, administering daily clinical tracks, and leading ancillary staff completely independently. Please note: This facility enforces a strict corporate employment rule. Candidates cannot have been employed in a full-time, part-time, or PRN capacity with any facility associated with the overarching parent health system or its regional sister entities within the past year [HARDSTOP].
📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Day shifts, 3x12-Hours (07:00 AM - 19:00 PM). The facility handles all scheduling matrices; there is no self-scheduling or block scheduling available.
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours guaranteed weekly. The facility maintains the operational right to cancel a maximum of 4 shifts over the duration of the 13-week contract.
- Weekend & Holiday Rules: Every Other Weekend (EOW) and every other major holiday rotation are strictly required [REQUIRED]. There are absolutely no on-call or standby requirements for this contract.
- Requested Time Off (RTO): All RTO requests must be submitted completely upfront at the time of profile submittal and cannot exceed a maximum of 7 days total across the 13-week contract [HARDSTOP]. Additional days will not be reviewed or approved post-submission.
- EMR System: MatrixCare charting platform.
- Unit Scope & Matrices: Dedicated 26-bed Long-Term Care unit. Day-shift staffing matrices run at an attractive 1:10 nurse-to-resident ratio.
- Floor Leadership: There are no specialized house supervisors on site. The RN acts directly as the Floor Charge Nurse, directing care delivery and overseeing certified nursing assistants. The Director of Nursing (DON) provides primary administrative oversight, and physicians are accessible 24/7 via telephone consultation.
📋 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Hardstop Experience Rules: Minimum 2 years of consecutive clinical experience strictly within a Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting [REQUIRED]. Must possess proven, independent mastery of comprehensive geriatric head-to-toe assessments, chronic disease management, and standard post-acute care paths.
- Profile Submission Mandate: A valid Driver's License must be included directly with your profile submittal. This will be used to verify that your permanent residence sits outside the facility's strict 50-mile radius rule [HARDSTOP].
- Certifications Required: Verifiable active AHA BLS certification is strictly required upon profile submission [HARDSTOP]. * Dress Code Rules: There is no restrictive scrub color code enforced. Clinicians must provide their own professional medical attire that is clean, presentable, and compliant with standard long-term care regulations.
