PREMIUM ENDOSCOPY / SURGICAL TECHNOLOGIST CONTRACT – 4x10 DAYS

 

We are seeking a highly skilled Endoscopy / Surgical Technologist (CST) for an immediate 13-week travel assignment in Issaquah, WA. Operating within a high-performing 4-room outpatient and inpatient GI/Endoscopy unit, this position is tailored for professionals proficient in high-level disinfection (HLD) and comprehensive procedural assistance. Enjoy a structured 4x10 day schedule with block scheduling and local candidates accepted.

Please note: A valid Washington State License in the form of a Surgical Tech (CST), MA-C, or CNA registration is strictly required upfront [HARDSTOP]. Weekday call runs overnight, but weekend call is restricted exclusively to ERCP-certified/therapeutics-trained clinicians.

 

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

  • Schedule: Day shifts, 4x10-Hours (07:00 AM - 17:30 PM). Thursdays feature a delayed start at 08:30 AM. General hours may vary slightly based on patient case scheduling. Block scheduling is available.
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours guaranteed weekly.
  • On-Call Requirements: 2 to 3 call shifts per month [REQUIRED]. Weekday call runs 17:30 PM - 07:00 AM. Weekend call is 24 hours (07:00 AM - 07:00 AM) and restricted strictly to therapeutics/ERCP-trained staff. If you are not therapeutics trained, you will not take weekend call. Call-backs are rare.
  • EMR System: Epic charting platform required.
  • Unit Scope & Equipment: 4-room specialized GI pavilion utilizing Steris AER (Automated Endoscope Reprocessors), ERBE electrosurgical units, and fluoroscopy (C-arm) hardware.
  • Floating Mandate: Highly flexible. Clinicians may float to alternative regional campus locations (such as the Ballard Campus) based on system demands.

📋 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

  • Experience Rules: Minimum 1 year of consecutive acute or outpatient Endoscopy/GI suite experience [REQUIRED]. First-time travelers are warmly accepted.
  • Licensure Required: Active Washington state credential (Surg Tech, MA-C, or CNA) must be fully clear and provided at submittal [HARDSTOP].
  • Certifications Required: Verifiable active AHA BLS is strictly required upon submission [HARDSTOP].
  • Procedural Mastery: Documented competency assisting with Colonoscopies, EGDs, CRE balloon dilations, biopsies, and high-level disinfection (HLD) scope handling (Colonoscopes, EGD, and Bronchoscopes).
