PREMIUM STEP DOWN / PROGRESSIVE CARE RN CONTRACT – 4x12 NIGHTS
We are seeking a highly adaptable Progressive Care / Step Down Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate 13-week travel assignment in Milwaukee, WI. Operating within a high-acuity acute care environment, this position is tailored for elite nursing professionals who can seamlessly manage intermediate care, telemetry, and medical-surgical overflow patient tracks. Enjoy a stable night routine and a balanced 48-hour guaranteed workweek.
Please note: This facility utilizes a flexible staffing model. Traveling clinicians will be placed where the greatest operational need exists (PCU or Med/Surg Telemetry) based entirely on real-time census and individual skill set match.
📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Night shifts, 4x12-Hours (19:00 PM - 07:30 AM).
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 Hours guaranteed weekly.
- Weekend & Holiday Rules: Every Other Weekend (EOW) and Every Other Holiday (EOH) rotations are strictly required [REQUIRED].
- On-Call Requirement: There are absolutely no on-call or standby requirements for this contract.
- EMR System: Epic charting platform is required.
- Floating Mandate: Highly flexible. Clinicians must be willing to float on-site within their skill set or to alternative health system campuses located within a 40-mile radius as needed to support patient care.
📋 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Experience Rules: Minimum 2 years of consecutive clinical experience strictly within an acute care Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Step Down, or Med-Surg Telemetry setting [REQUIRED]. Prior travel nursing experience is preferred.
- Licensure Required: An active, unrestricted Wisconsin state nursing license or an active multistate Compact license must be fully clear and provided upfront at the time of profile submittal.
- Certifications Required: Verifiable active AHA BLS and AHA ACLS are strictly required upon submission [HARDSTOP]. All credentials must be attached immediately to pass automated vendor screening.
