PREMIUM EMERGENCY ROOM RN CONTRACT – 3x12 NIGHTS

We are seeking a highly proficient Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate 13-week travel assignment in Manhattan, KS. Operating within a high-volume, 18-room Emergency Department, this position is tailored for elite emergency professionals who excel in dynamic, diverse community settings. Enjoy a stable overnight routine and a balanced 36-hour guaranteed workweek.

Please note: This facility serves a uniquely diverse, rural-mixed population. Due to its direct proximity to Kansas State University and the Fort Riley military base, clinicians must be highly comfortable treating a wide demographic mix including pediatrics, geriatrics, college students, military personnel, and acute psychiatric/mental health holds.

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

Schedule: Night shifts, 3x12-Hours (18:00 PM - 06:30 AM).
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours guaranteed weekly.
EMR System: Meditech charting platform.
Unit Scope & Matrices: 18-room Emergency Department. Staffing ratios are maintained at a baseline of 1:4 for general emergency zones, with flexibility built in to adapt based on real-time department volume and patient acuity.
On-Site Support Infrastructure: 24/7 on-staff emergency physicians, paired with mid-level provider coverage during peak operational hours throughout the day.

📋 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

Experience Rules: Minimum 2 years of consecutive acute care hospital Emergency Department experience [REQUIRED]. Must demonstrate independent mastery of rapid triage and emergency stabilization paths.
Licensure Required: An active, unrestricted Kansas (KS) state nursing license or an active multistate Compact license must be fully clear and provided upfront at the time of profile submittal.
Certifications Required: Verifiable Active AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are strictly required upon submission [HARDSTOP]. All credentials must be attached immediately to prevent presentation delays.
Dress Code: Uniform requires Ceil Blue scrubs.
