🔥 PREMIUM OUTPATIENT CLINIC RN CONTRACT – NO CALL – NO WEEKENDS – EUREKA, CA
First Connect Health is seeking a highly skilled and organized Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate 13-week outpatient travel assignment in Eureka, California. Operating entirely away from the inpatient bedside, this role serves a vital clinical and administrative function within an active neurology practice. If you are looking for a highly predictable Monday–Friday daytime routine, balanced clinical pacing, and exceptional West Coast tax-free stipends, this contract is built for you!
Please note: First-time travel nurses are proudly accepted if they possess solid baseline clinic or telemetry skills! This is a strict outpatient position, not an inpatient bedside role.
💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE
- Weekly Gross: $2,310.00
- Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,310.00 (Maxed out GSA allowance for housing & meals)
- Hourly W2 Rate: $25.00/hr
- Overtime Rate: $37.50/hr
📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Day shifts, 5x8-Hours (08:00 AM - 17:00 PM). Monday through Friday. No weekends or call required!
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours guaranteed weekly.
- EMR Charting System: Epic.
- Clinical Scope & Weekly Workload Metrics:
- Patient Contacts: 50 telephone triage/MyChart advice calls per week.
- Prescription Safety: 50 medication refill request validations per week.
- Prior Authorizations: 15–20 insurance/prior auth forms managed weekly.
- In-Person Care: 15–20 office visits and 8 outpatient infusion orders per week.
- Cognitive Screening: Direct utilization of the MoCA (Montreal Cognitive Assessment) tool to screen for mild cognitive impairment.
🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent clinical RN experience. Experience working with Epic is highly preferred, and prior experience working in Neurology or Infusion settings is highly preferred.
- Licensure: California RN licensure must be actively in hand within 2 weeks of submission (pending state paperwork must be close to final printout).
- Certifications Required: Active AHA BLS certification.
- Core Skills: Strong telephone triage competence, disability/authorization form mapping, medication reconciliation, and interpretation of laboratory results.
