🔥 PREMIUM CARDIAC CATH LAB TECH CONTRACT – SUNNY CLEARWATER, FL
First Connect Health is seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for an immediate 13-week travel assignment in beautiful Clearwater, Florida. Operating within a large, highly advanced 599-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital, this modern department handles complex interventional cardiology workflows. 💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE
- Weekly Gross: $2,556.00
- Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,596.00 (Maxed out GSA allowance)
- Hourly W2 Rate: $24.00/hr
- Overtime Rate: $36.00/hr
📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Day shifts, 4x10-Hours (07:00 AM - 17:30 PM). Specific daily start times may vary depending on department pacing. No block scheduling available.
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours guaranteed weekly.
- On-Call Requirements: Yes, rotational on-call standby is strictly required for this position.
- EMR & Software Systems: Cerner charting experience is preferred.
- Clinical Environment & Hardware: Fully equipped with 3 active procedure rooms. Preferred experience with Phillips Imaging Equipment and Phillips Xper systems is highly valued. (Note: Manifold experience is preferred, but the unit will gladly provide an opportunity to learn if needed).
- Core Diagnostic & Interventional Scope: Room circulator, accurate monitoring, EKG lead placement, and maintaining a sterile scrub field.
- Patient Profiles: Managing high-acuity chest pain, NSTEMI, STEMI, valve disease, and pulmonary hypertension. Procedures cover L/R heart caths, complex PCI, CTO, temporary pacemakers, Impella insertions, rotablator atherectomies, coil embolizations, and carotid/complex peripheral stenting.
🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Experience: Minimum 2 years (24 months) of recent clinical experience operating inside an acute care hospital Cardiac Cath Lab environment. First-time travel technologists cannot be accepted for this role.
- Licensure: Active Florida State Radiologic Technology License or valid Multi-State Compact License must be in hand at the exact time of submittal.
- Certifications Required: ARRT (R) and/or CCI RCIS credentials, active AHA ACLS, and active AHA BLS are mandatory.
- Competency Testing: Candidates must successfully pass a standard clinical EKG exam (up to 3 attempts permitted).
- Dress Code: Solid Red scrubs.
