First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel opening for a highly versatile Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist. Operating within a modern 223-bed short-term acute care hospital, this unit features 4 procedural rooms and offers a unique blended schedule. 💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE

• Weekly Gross: $2,556.00
• Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,596.00
• Hourly W2 Rate: $24.00/hr
• Overtime Rate: $36.00/hr

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

• Schedule: Day shifts, 4x10-Hours (06:30 AM - 17:00 PM). No weekend shifts or mandatory on-call required!
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours weekly (Fulfillment applies after the first facility call-off per pay period).
• EMR Charting System: Cerner charting experience is preferred.
• Blended Clinical Scope: Must be fully EP trained. Position splits coverage by performing specialized EP cases one day per week, and standard Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology (IR) cases the remaining three days per week. As the hospital's dedicated EP program grows, your EP duties will expand and Cath/IR obligations will naturally diminish.
• Core Procedural Responsibilities: Handling electrophysiology studies, arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, cardiac mapping, cardiac ablation, and pacemaker/AICD insertions. Cath lab duties cover diagnostic catheterizations, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP placement, Impella insertions, and PCI support.

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience as an EP Tech. Dual experience across both diagnostic cardiac cath lab and EP laboratory work settings is strictly required. First-time travel technologists cannot be accepted for this role.
• Licensure: Active Florida State Radiologic Technology License or a valid Multi-State Compact License is required at the exact time of submittal.
• Certifications Required: Active AHA BLS certification.
• Competency Testing: Selected candidates must successfully pass a standard clinical EKG exam (up to 3 attempts permitted).
• Dress Code: Solid Royal Blue scrubs.
