Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Assisted Living Community

We’re seeking an Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who thrives in a collaborative setting, supports seniors to live with dignity and independence, and leads with calm, clinical confidence.

  What You’ll Do:
  • Provide and oversee resident assessments, care planning, and ongoing clinical evaluations.
  • Administer medications and treatments; monitor for changes in condition and respond promptly.
  • Coordinate care with physicians, pharmacies, therapists, and families.
  • Lead, coach, and support care staff (CNAs/HHAs/Med Techs) to deliver high-quality, person-centered care.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state regulations and community policies.
  • Participate in care conferences, quality improvement, and infection prevention initiatives.
  • Educate residents and families on health conditions, medications, and care plans.
   

   

  What We’re Looking For
  • Current, unencumbered LPN license in Massachusetts 
  • 2 yrs prior recent experience in assisted living, long-term care, memory care, home health, or a similar setting preferred.
  • Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and documentation skills.
  • Comfortable leading teams, mentoring caregivers, and communicating with families.
  • Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused with a commitment to dignity and respect.
  • Basic computer/EMR proficiency; ability to prioritize and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain promptly).

   

  Schedule and Pay

• Full-time; 40 hrs per week weekends are required.
• 4 week assignment, possibility for extensions.

• Competitive pay based on experience.

   

• Travel Pay Package: (must have a tax home greater than 60 miles from site)

  Taxable Hourly Pay: $20/hr

  Housing Stipend:$525/week

  MI&E: $280/week

   

• Local Applicants: $$31 - $36/hr
