🔥 HOT JOB: PREMIUM CVOR TECH CONTRACT – INDIANAPOLIS, IN
First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel opening for an elite Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Surgical Technologist. Operating within a highly advanced, Level I Trauma teaching hospital, this position focuses on complex open-heart, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases. Please note: First-time travelers are proudly accepted for this role ONLY if they possess the mandatory Level I Trauma experience.
💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE
- Weekly Gross: $2,138.00
- Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,490.00
- Hourly W2 Rate: $18.00/hr
- Overtime Rate: $27.00/hr
📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Day shifts, 3x12-Hours (06:30 AM - 19:00 PM). No block scheduling available.
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 regular hours weekly.
- On-Call Requirements: Heavy call volume required; expect between 90 to 120 hours of on-call standby within a 6-week schedule block.
- EMR Charting System: Any EMR experience is accepted.
- Core Pre-Screening Mandate: You MUST possess the ability to independently receive lines from perfusion and prep them for cannulation.
- Clinical Scope & Case Mix: Must demonstrate mastery in at least 3 out of 4 core cardiovascular proficiencies, including heart and lung transplants. Endovascular procedures are a strong plus.
- Procedural Experience Required: Vascular and Thoracic surgery cases including Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Atherectomy, CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, TAVR, Valve Replacements, VAD, and Aortic Dissections.
🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience as a Surgical Tech. At least 1 full year of Level I Trauma experience is an absolute clinical HARD STOP.
- Licensure: Active Indiana State licensure must be in hand prior to the start date (temporary licenses are obtainable once permanent applications have been submitted).
- Certifications Required: National NBSTSA certification and active AHA BCLS (BLS) are strictly required for profile presentation.
- Education: Tech program must be adequately accredited at the time of graduation.
