🔥 ADVANCED SPECIALTY RN CONTRACT – PREDICTABLE DAYS – NO WEEKENDS
First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel opening for a highly technical Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Dialysis and Apheresis. Operating within an 8-room specialized pathology lab setting, this position provides care to adult and adolescent populations presenting with specialized diagnoses such as GVHD, BO, and CTCL. If you are looking for an assignment that offers a highly predictable 4x10 day schedule, a dedicated 1:1 patient care ratio, and premium Midwest tax-free stipends, this contract is built for you!
Please note: Prior travel nursing experience is strictly required if your primary background is in Apheresis.
💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE
- Weekly Gross: $2,000.00
- Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,200.00
- Hourly W2 Rate: $20.00/hr
- Overtime Rate: $30.00/hr
📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Day shifts, 4x10-Hours (07:00 AM - 17:30 PM). No scheduled weekend hours!
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 regular hours weekly.
- On-Call Requirements: Rotating on-call standby coverage is required for this unit.
- EMR Charting System: Cerner charting is required.
- Elite 1:1 Pacing & Scope: Complete 1:1 clinical care delivery. Must demonstrate strong, independent mastery handling:
- Apheresis Modalities: Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE) / Plasmapheresis, Red Blood Cell Exchange, Photopheresis therapy, blood priming protocols, and post-apheresis care tracking.
- Dialysis & Access: Setting up and initiating dialysis treatments, post-dialysis blood return, tunneled/non-tunneled catheters, central lines, and ports. Ability to cannulate AV fistulas and AV grafts is highly valued.
- Special Equipment: Extensive hands-on utilization of the CellEx system array.
🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Experience: Minimum 3 years (36 months) of recent clinical experience operating as a Dialysis or Apheresis RN. Solid foundational background managing central lines, ports, and specialized blood filters is strictly mandatory. (Previous charge nurse experience is preferred).
- Licensure: Active Indiana State RN License MUST be actively in hand at the exact time of initial submittal (pending licenses cannot be accepted).
- Certifications Required: Active AHA BCLS (BLS) certification MUST be in hand at the time of submission.
- Education: Nursing degrees must be accredited through the ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation.
