Mobile MRI Technologist – Travel Contract
Start/Modified Date: 7/27/2026
Shift: Days – 4x10s
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
Call: No
Weekend Requirement: No regular weekends
Holiday Requirement: Yes, if holiday falls on scheduled shift
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year MRI Tech experience
- First-time travelers accepted
- Required Certifications:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) MR
- or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
- BLS
- Required Experience:
- Siemens MRI experience
- Preferred:
- Level I Trauma experience
- Travel experience

- Beds: 865
- Teaching hospital
- Magnet facility
- Level I Trauma Center
- Charting: Epic
- Scrubs:
- Teal top
- Black bottoms
Contract Rules
- Guaranteed hours: Facility may cancel 1 shift every 2 weeks
- Float: Required within scope if needed
- Radius rule: 60 miles
- Locals accepted case-by-case at 10% lower bill rate
- RTO must be submitted with application
- No additional RTO after submission
Compliance Notes
- SSN required for submission
- Non-local candidates prioritized
- Labs:
- Complete within 72 hours of signing if start date is within 90 days
- Otherwise complete at least 2 weeks before hard document deadline
- Modules:
- Average 4 hours
- Non-billable
- Completed before start
Vaccination
- COVID vaccine: Not required
- Flu vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Additional Note
During hurricane season (June–November, peak August–September), travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams as part of facility expectations.
