⚡ URGENT ALL-IN-ONE PERIOPERATIVE RN AUTO-OFFER POSITION
First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel opening for a highly versatile, well-rounded Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN). Operating within a compact 22-bed critical access hospital equipped with a 2-room surgery department, this role is perfect for a clinician who thrives in comprehensive surgical services workflows. If you are looking to secure exceptional West Coast travel stipends, bypass traditional slow interview loops, and work an immersive assignment where you can follow your patients from pre-op all the way through post-op and discharge, this contract is built for you!
Please note: First-time travel nurses are proudly accepted if they possess strong, independent critical access or cross-functional perioperative backgrounds!
💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE
- Weekly Gross: $2,446.00
- Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,246.00 (Maxed out GSA allowance for housing & meals)
- Hourly W2 Rate: $30.00/hr
- Overtime Rate: $45.00/hr
📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS
- Schedule: Day shifts, 5x8-Hours (06:30 AM - 15:00 PM). No block scheduling available.
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 regular hours weekly.
- On-Call Requirements: 8 on-call shifts per month, which includes a variable rotation covering a 3-day weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and weeknights.
- Weekend Coverage: Every 3rd or 4th weekend depending on the unit's rotation and current time-off tracking. Weekend demands consist only of on-call and holiday on-call coverage.
- EMR Charting System: Epic charting is required.
- Comprehensive Clinical Scope: Must be a cross-functional perioperative generalist. You will float dynamically across all areas of the surgical department based on daily unit needs, including Pre-op, Circulating, PACU (Phase I and II), and Endoscopy. Ratios vary dynamically between 1:1, 1:2, and 1:4 depending on the designated area.
- Surgical Specialty Mix: Active management of a 2-room OR setup spanning General Surgery (appendectomy, cholecystectomy, open/lap hernia repair, mastectomy), Orthopedics (arthroscopy, total joint replacements, fracture reductions), OB-GYN, ENT, GI, Pain Management, and Adult/Pediatric Dentistry.
- Special Procedures & Hardstops: Independent ability to circulate C-sections is an absolute clinical HARDSTOP.
🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience within an acute care setting. Prior experience working in a Critical Access Hospital is strictly required.
- Licensure: Active Montana State Nursing License or valid Multi-State Compact RN License is required in hand at the exact time of profile submission.
- Certifications Required: Active AHA BLS, active AHA ACLS, and PALS are mandatory to clear the submission gate. NIHSS is highly preferred.
