Job Description:
The Neurodiagnostic Technologist Level 1 performs standard and complex Neurodiagnostic procedures for patients with moderate supervision as directed according to established standards and practices. Provides technical assistance and training to students. Completes all necessary documentation for departmental records and patient procedures. Supports all functions, goals, and objectives of the department as well as development of any new programs that involve the Neurodiagnostic Lab and Epilepsy Unit.
10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. 5x8 hours. Weekends and Holidays as needed. On call required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience. Must have both inpatient and outpatient EEG experience
Preferred: Familiarity with Natus and Nihon Kohden systems

Education Requirement:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
1. High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
2. Associate's Degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology or equivalent .
Licenses and Certifications Required:
1. AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
2. Eligible for ABRET registration.

1. Demonstrates the ability to follow verbal instructions.
2. Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing .
3. Working knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft or Google productivity suite.
