🔥 PREMIUM DAY-SHIFT RESPIRATORY THERAPIST CONTRACT – DAYS (6a-6p)

First Connect Health has an immediate 13-week travel opening for a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) to support an active acute care setting in West Valley, Utah. Operating within a comprehensive respiratory service framework, this role balances clinical diagnostic testing with emergency floor coverage. 💰 PRE-CALCULATED PAY PACKAGE

• Weekly Gross: $1,801.00
• Weekly Tax-Free Stipend: $1,225.00
• Hourly W2 Rate: $16.00/hr
• Overtime Rate: $24.00/hr

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

• Schedule: Day shifts, 3x12-Hours (06:00 AM - 18:00 PM). Bypasses rigid block scheduling.
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 regular hours guaranteed weekly.
• Weekend Coverage: Every Other Weekend (EOW) rotation required.
• On-Call Requirements: Ability to provide rotational on-call standby coverage outside of standard scheduled hours per department policy.
• EMR Charting System: Epic.
• Core Diagnostic & Clinical Scope: Responsible for high-acuity patient assessments, care plan construction, therapeutic implementation, and ongoing evaluation/revisions. Performs comprehensive diagnostic testing arrays including Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs), 12-lead EKGs, cardiac monitoring, bronchoscopy assistance, and pulse oximetry. Assists with patient transport operations within the hospital or between affiliated network facilities.
• Pacing Notes: This position requires clinical adaptability, including the capacity to handle flexible hours before or after standard scheduled shifts based on census variations.

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent clinical acute care experience as an RT. (While a minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience is preferred by the department, submission guidelines dictate 2 full years to pass automated MSP verification gates).
• Education: Graduated completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP).
• Licensure: Valid Utah State Respiratory Care Practitioner license is required in hand at time of submission.
• Certifications Required: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), active AHA BLS, active AHA ACLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and PALS credentials are strictly required for profile submission.
