Description

Location & Facility

Facility: McLaren Northern Michigan (202-bed regional hospital)
Location: Petoskey, MI
EHR System: Cerner
Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs
Floating Requirements: Must be willing to float to similar units.

Required Qualifications & Clinical Skills

Experience: * Minimum of 1+ year of dedicated ICU experience strictly required (floating experience does not count).
- EKG experience is strictly required.
- Preferred Skills: Neuro, CVICU, Trauma, Managing Vents, CRRT, and Balloon Pumps.
Licensure: Active Michigan (MI) RN License. LARA and Nursys verification required. (Note: If there is a license hit, it is highly recommended to provide a write-up of what happened for the manager's review).
Certifications: * BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
Documentation: A skills checklist completed within one year of application is required. References are NOT required for submission.

⚠️ Strict Facility Attendance Policy (3-Strike Rule)

McLaren Northern enforces a zero-tolerance 3-strike attendance policy.
Any contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for a scheduled shift a total of 3 times will be terminated effective immediately.
Exceptions: Only documented situations such as a communicable disease or hospitalization will be reviewed in favor of the contractor.
