Travel RN – Radiation Oncology
Location: New York, NY
Start Date: 08/03/2026
Contract Length: 14 Weeks (Through 11/07/2026)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 37.5 Hours/Week

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients receiving outpatient radiation oncology treatments.
- Perform patient assessments and monitor patients throughout the course of radiation therapy.
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, side effect management, medications, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with physicians, radiation therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate individualized patient care.
- Administer medications and perform nursing interventions as ordered.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC Electronic Medical Records.
- Promote patient safety while following evidence-based practice and hospital protocols.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support a positive patient experience.
- Assist with patient care coordination, discharge planning, and continuity of care.
Required Qualifications
- Active New York RN License
- BLS (AHA) Certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent Radiation Oncology experience in an outpatient setting (Required)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Previous EPIC EMR experience highly preferred
- Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
