Description

PREMIUM MRI TECHNOLOGIST CONTRACT – 4x10 NIGHTS

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a premier Level 2 Trauma Center in Medford, OR. This position is tailored for overnight imaging specialists who can confidently run complex imaging protocols in a high-acuity, 2-room department.

 

Please note: This position features a highly supportive overnight structure. A dedicated Imaging Aide will be scheduled to work alongside you during all hours of your shift [SUPPORTED].

 

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 4x10-Hours. Shift times are Sunday through Wednesday, 17:30 PM - 06:00 AM (Note: Shift notes state Sun-Wed night schedule; department notes specify general 3rd shift coverage).
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours guaranteed weekly. Note: 12 hours of initial orientation is non-billable, and guaranteed hours do not apply during this first-week onboarding track.
  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks (07/07/2026 – 10/06/2026).
  • On-Call Requirements: Call is not regularly scheduled but may be assigned contextually based on staffing and department needs.
  • Onboarding & Training Track: Includes a robust 2 to 4-week orientation period executed on the day shift, which may include temporary backup call until you are completely comfortable transitioning to the standalone 3rd shift.
  • Core Hardware & Software Arrays: Epic EMR and PACS. Must possess strong, hands-on operational familiarity with the Siemens Skyra 3.0T, Siemens Altea 1.5T, and the Siemens Aera 1.5T (Temporary Mobile Unit).
  • Cancellation Policy: The facility may call off or cancel up to 24 hours per 13-week assignment and can provide a 2-week contract termination notice.

📋 CLINICAL MATRIX & CASELOAD SCOPE

  • Advanced Imaging Sequences: Must demonstrate independent proficiency executing Neuro scans with perfusion, advanced Musculoskeletal (MSK) studies, and focused Abdominal work.
  • High-Acuity Patient Care: Comfort managing critical care/ICU patients, pediatric populations (including occasional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit / NICU transfers), and patients undergoing scans under General Anesthesia.

📋 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

  • Education & Experience: Minimum of an Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field. At least 1 year of clinical diagnostic hospital-setting experience is highly preferred. * Licensure Required: Must possess a current license in MRI issued by the Oregon Board of Imaging (OBMI) [HARDSTOP]. Profiles with a pending license or those willing to wait will be reviewed if credentials can clear prior to start.
  • Certifications Required: Verifiable Active registration via the ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT, along with an AHA BLS certification, are strictly required upon submission [HARDSTOP].
  • Dress Code: Professional medical scrubs. No spandex, leggings, denim, sweatshirts, or standard cargo pants (scrub pants with cargo pockets are permitted). Shoes must be closed-toe athletic or nursing styles.

  • Local Radius Rule: A strict 50-mile local radius restriction is actively enforced [HARDSTOP]. The facility will not consider local or regional candidates residing inside this boundary.
