📅 Assignment Details

• Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: 12-Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Schedule: 36 Hours/Week (3x12s)
• Weekends: Required

💼 About the Role

We are seeking experienced Med/Surg Orthopedic Registered Nurses to join a well-established acute care hospital in Golden, CO. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive, patient-focused environment delivering high-quality care to post-surgical and medical patients.

⚠️ Note: This is a Med/Ortho unit (NOT Step-Down/IMC)

🩺 Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and care planning
• Deliver and evaluate nursing care and treatment plans
• Provide post-operative orthopedic care and medical-surgical support
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Conduct patient education and discharge planning
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Float to other units as needed (within scope)
• Participate in on-call rotation if required

✅ Requirements

• Active RN License (Colorado or Compact)
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• ACLS (AHA) – Required
• NIHSS – Required
• Minimum 1+ year RN experience
• ASN required (BSN preferred) 

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC Certification
• Previous Med/Surg or Ortho experience
• Travel nursing experience
