Hospital: Memorial Health University Medical Center
Location: Savannah, GA
Address: 4700 Waters Ave.
Unit: NICU (Neonatal) RRT
General Information
· Type of equipment: Servo U & Drager VN500, F&P Bubble CPAP, HFOV, HFJV, Vaportherm, & heliox therapy.
· Documentation system: Epic
· Scheduling requirements: 7PM – 12 hr shift
· Patient Experience requirements: 1+ years Neonatal ICU or PICU Critical Care experience
Hospital Specifics-
· Certifications: PALS, RRT certification
Must have: 1+ year Neonatal or PICU Critical Care experience
Advanced skills needed:
Procedures performed on unit: Must be able to independently admit and manage vented patients in Peds ICU using Servo –U ventilator. Also, setup and manage heliox therapy though invasive and non-invasive measures. Familiar with non-invasive ventilation including use of biPAP and CPAP. Neonatal skills to include Bubble CPAP, and, use of nitric oxide, and high frequency ventilation.
