Position Summary

• Position: Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Department: Diagnostic Imaging – Cardiac Cath & Interventional Radiology
• Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM), occasional weekends
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Contract Length:(13 weeks)

Required Qualifications

• ARRT RT(R) credential (required)
• Current Oregon license
• Current Oregon Radiologic Technologist license (unencumbered)
• BLS – Healthcare Provider
• ACLS – AHA

Preferred Qualifications

• Radiologic Technologist (RTR) designation preferred
• 1 year of Cath Lab or Angiography hospital experience preferred

Clinical Experience

Candidates should be comfortable with:

• Cardiac catheterization procedures
• Interventional radiology procedures
• Angiography imaging
• Sterile technique
• Patient preparation and positioning
• Contrast administration support
• Hemodynamic monitoring support
• Radiation safety practices
• Equipment setup and troubleshooting

Department Information

• Works within the Diagnostic Imaging service line.
• Supports both Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology teams.
• Utilizes advanced imaging technology to support rapid diagnosis and treatment.

Schedule

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Occasional weekend coverage required
• 40 hours guaranteed per week

Additional Notes

• Facility prefers candidates with recent Cath Lab/Angio hospital experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a procedural, team-oriented environment are important for this role.
