HOT JOB: CERTIFIED CVOR TECH – 4x10 DAYS & CALL (ROCKFORD, IL)
Sia Hayes at First Connect Health is fast-tracking applications for an experienced Certified Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Surgical Technologist. This is a 13-week travel contract in Illinois tailored for a dedicated Heart Team professional.
POSITION QUICK-FACTS
- Shift: 06:30 AM - 17:00 PM | 4x10-Hour Day Shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours weekly
- On-Call Mandate: Rotational call coverage required. Call occurs roughly once per week, which may include a Saturday or Sunday. Weekend call shifts are scheduled as single 24-hour periods (either Saturday or Sunday, never both).
THE CLINICAL MATRIX
- The Environment: High-acuity Operating Room environment operating as an integral member of the specialized Heart Team.
- Core Competencies: Must be fully proficient in cardiovascular surgical procedures and capable of scrubbing complex cardiac cases completely independently.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS (HARDSTOPS)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of current CVOR surgical technologist experience in a similar high-acuity setting [HARDSTOP].
- Education Verification: Must be a graduate of an accredited program for Surgical Technologists, with verifiable graduation credentials on the profile [HARDSTOP].
- Geographic Rule: Travel candidates only. Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the Rockford, IL facility. Local candidates will not be considered.
- Scheduling Constraints: All potential Requested Time Off (RTO) must be submitted upfront for facility approval.
