HOT JOB: MED/SURG RN – 3x12 NIGHTS (KEENE, NH)
Sia Hayes at First Connect Health is fast-tracking applications for an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse. This is a 13-week travel contract in New Hampshire with an immediate need. First-time travelers are welcome!
POSITION QUICK-FACTS
- Shift: 19:00 PM - 07:30 AM | 3x12 Nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours weekly (48-hour guarantees are not available for this need)
- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend and holidays as required by the unit.
- On-Call Mandate: None.
- Scheduling Constraints: Shift accommodations or block scheduling requests will absolutely not be considered.
THE CLINICAL MATRIX
- The Environment: Professional clinical setting managing an adult-to-geriatric patient population.
- Core Duties: Coordinate total nursing care, lead patient and family education, and collaborate with ancillary teams to uphold strict professional nursing standards.
- Float Requirement: Must be willing to float to the Thompson Unit if needed. Travelers will also float to handle Kingsbury custodial patients as required, which features a lower clinical acuity but a higher patient-to-nurse ratio.
- Systems & Charting: Epic EMR experience is required.
- Dress Code: Traveler-provided professional scrubs with no commercial logos.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS (HARDSTOPS)
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of dedicated acute care Medical/Surgical experience.
- Licensure: Active New Hampshire or Compact RN license must be in-hand and uploaded at the time of submission. Pending licenses are not accepted.
- Certifications: Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Geographic Rule: Cheshire will not consider local candidates. The traveler's permanent address must be included in the profile and must be outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.
- Time Off Constraints: All Requested Time Off (RTO) and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront. The facility will not review or approve any time off after an offer is extended; post-offer requests may result in a rescinded file.
- Compliance Velocity: All medical and occupational health compliance documents must be completely ordered, collected, and resulted within 5 days of offer acceptance.
