Join a high-acuity, fast-paced Labor & Delivery unit that cares for 400-600 births per month. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced L&D nurses who thrive in busy environments and are confident managing high patient volumes.

Shift

• Nights: 4x12-Hour Shifts
• 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week
• Contract Length: 13-26 weeks

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience (3 years preferred)
• First-time travelers welcome with recent high-volume L&D experience
• Strong OR circulating experience for C-sections highly preferred
• Comfortable with frequent double labor assignments

• Sterile vaginal exams

• High-risk antepartum care
• OB triage
• LDRP experience
• Neonatal/Infant emergency response
• Pain management
• Isolation precautions/PPE

Certifications

• BLS
• NRP
• AWHONN Intermediate (C-EFM accepted in lieu of AWHONN where applicable)

Unit Highlights

• 20-bed Labor & Delivery Unit
• Approximately 20 births every 24 hours
• 30-40 admissions daily
• Around 40 patient visits per day
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 2:1
• Obstetrical triage unit
• High-risk antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
• Scheduled and emergency C-sections
• Rescue cervical cerclage procedures
• Float as needed within Women's Services (High-Risk OB)
