Shift: Night Shift – 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Expected Hours: 36 Hours per Week

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join a busy Med Surg unit caring for adult and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills, experience managing a diverse patient population, and the ability to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adult and geriatric Med Surg patients.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and blood products as prescribed.
• Start and maintain peripheral IVs and manage PICC lines.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize Rapid Response and Code Teams when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR.
• Follow infection control policies, isolation precautions, and hospital safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of recent Medical Surgical RN experience.
• Georgia RN License or Compact RN License.
• BLS Certification
• Epic EMR experience required.
