CVOR RN | Akron, OH | Days 4x8s

32 hours/week. 7a-3:30p. Could be on call on rotating weekends.

Responsibilities:

Develops advanced level of knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology in relation to cardio-thoracic surgery, diagnostic cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiac catheterization as well as electrophysiology study, ablation and pacemaker/defibrillator insertion.
Provides pre-procedure assessment for outpatients scheduled in the Cath Lab and serve in the scrubbing and circulating role in both the cardiac OR and Cath Lab.
Takes call that is shared equally among the other department Nurse Clinicians.

Requirements:

OH and/or Compact License
At least 2 years of peds cardiovascular nursing
at least 2 years of OR experience
PALS, BLS, and ACLS required
BSN required
