💼 Position Details
- Specialty: Pediatric Behavioral Health RN
- Shift: Nights – 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Schedule: Rotating 2-week patterns (set schedules provided)

👩⚕️ Patient Care & Unit Info
- Patient Ratio: 1:12
- Daily Census: ~24 patients
- Unit Structure:
- 4 units with 1 RN per unit
- Behavioral Health Techs assist with 1:1 to 1:4 patient observation
- RNs oversee 8–12 patients, manage medications, and guide care
- Common Diagnoses:
- Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder
- Eating Disorders, PTSD, Substance Use
- Psychotic Disorders, Self-injurious behavior
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Medication administration (PO, IM, IV, SC, etc.)
- Crisis intervention & de-escalation techniques
- Behavioral management and psychoeducation
- Monitoring high-risk behaviors (suicidal, assaultive, impulsive)
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Adherence to seclusion/restraint protocols and legal standards
✅ Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience (Behavioral Health preferred)
- Certifications Required:
- BLS (AHA)
- CPI or MANDT (required at submission)
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted
- License: Active (no pending licenses accepted)
- Travel Requirement: Candidate must live 75+ miles from facility

- Pediatric or Adolescent Behavioral Health
- Crisis intervention & assaultive behavior management
- Experience with:
- Anxiety, Bipolar, PTSD, Schizophrenia
- Substance abuse & eating disorders
- Emergency response (CPR, chemical restraints, physical holds)
- Knowledge of seclusion and involuntary commitment processes
📅 Scheduling & Weekend Requirements
- Weekend requirement:
- Every Sunday Night OR
- Every Friday Night OR
- Every other Friday Night
- RTO: Max 7 days
- Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts/week
💰 Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive weekly pay (based on experience)
- Overtime: 1.5x after 48 hours
- Holiday Pay: 1.5x

- Missouri Background Check (MoVechs) – required
- Must be initiated within 1 week of contract signing
