Description
Travel CT Technologist – Level I Trauma Center
Location: Boston, MA
Facility: Brigham and Women's Hospital (Level I Trauma Center)
Contract: Travel Assignment
Shift: Flexible (Must be open to rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed)
Position Overview
Join one of the nation's premier academic medical centers as a CT Technologist supporting a fast-paced Level I Trauma Center.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging exams following established protocols.
- Prepare, position, and monitor patients throughout procedures.
- Administer IV contrast and perform venipuncture according to departmental policies.
- Operate Siemens CT scanners and related imaging equipment.
- Transfer images to PACS and complete documentation in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues promptly.
- Transport and assist patients safely throughout the imaging process.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, continuing education, and departmental training.
- Float to affiliated radiology clinics and divisions as required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT (CT) certification required.
- Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist and CT licenses required.
- Level I Trauma experience required.
- Siemens CT scanner experience required.
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience (2–3 years of Radiologic Technology experience preferred).
