Cardio Thoracic RN – Peoria, IL (Travel Contract)
- Location: Peoria, IL
- Charting: EPIC
- Shift: 12-hour Days (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) or Nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
- Unit: 70-bed Cardio Thoracic/Telemetry
- Patient Population: MI, CHF, A-Fib, COPD, post-op cardiac & thoracic surgery, chest tubes, pacemakers/AICDs, lung surgeries, and general med overflow.
- Requirements: Active IL RN License (or application in process), BLS required, ACLS preferred, EKG interpretation, medication titration, and experience with Cardizem & Heparin drips.
- Ratios: Days 1:4–5 | Nights 1:5–6
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
- Floating: Required to other medical units
- Scrubs: Any solid color (no cartoon prints)
Submission Requirements: Last 4 digits of SSN, middle initial, requested time off, and IL license status. Candidate must pass a drug screen as OSF is a drug-free campus.
