Description

** Maine Residents Must reside outside of a 50 mile radius

Travelers with hits on background/license will not be accepted.

Must be willing to float to Chemical Dependency/Detox

In this role, the RN will be responsible for working alongside an interdisciplinary team to provide day-to-day care of children and adolescents, ages 6-18, on an inpatient Adolescent behavioral unit.

The primary diagnosis' that are treated are major depression and ADD/ADHD. He/She will be responsible for medication administration and education, daily documentation of patient care and managing/monitoring behaviors throughout the unit. Additionally, the RN will participate in and lead education groups.

JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: Associates Degree in Nursing required

Valid State of Maine RN license

required BLS certification required

Experience: 1-3 years previous nursing experience working with adults preferred

At least 1 year previous nursing experience

required CPI Trained
