Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist

Join a highly skilled Interventional Radiology team at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital! We're seeking an experienced IR Technologist for a travel assignment with a Monday-Friday schedule, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Position Details

• Position: Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Facility: Columbia St. Mary's Hospital
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Shift: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (with potential to extend)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Call Requirement:
  • Currently 1 weekday call per week
  • Every other weekend call
  • Holiday call as needed

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during a variety of minimally invasive vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures.
• Prepare and operate imaging equipment while ensuring optimal image quality.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures while maintaining patient safety.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with procedural setup.
• Accurately document procedures using EPIC.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Float within your skill set to other departments or facilities within a 40-mile radius as needed.

Requirements

• ARRT (R)(T) Certification
• Wisconsin Radiographer License
• BLS Certification
• Previous Interventional Radiology experience required
• Experience with EPIC preferred
• Previous travel healthcare experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to different departments and workflows
