Description

Overview

Seeking a compassionate and experienced Palliative Care RN to provide specialized care for adult patients with complex symptom management and end-of-life care needs. This role also supports general medicine overflow patients in a collaborative, patient- and family-centered environment.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive palliative and end-of-life nursing care
Perform advanced patient assessments and advocate for patients with complex needs
Manage pain and symptom control, including patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) pumps
Deliver skilled IV therapy and wound care
Support patients and families through crisis and end-of-life decision-making
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and maintain accurate documentation

Requirements

Active New York RN License
Minimum 2 years of recent Palliative Care or Acute Med Surg experience
Strong IV therapy, wound care, and assessment skills
Compassionate approach to patient- and family-centered care
