Description
Registered Nurse – Neuro Med-Surg Acute
Location- Peoria, IL
Shift- Nights (4×12-Hour Shifts)
Guaranteed Hours- 48 hrs/week
Contract Length- 26 Weeks
Pay Package:
Weekly Gross: $3,166/week
W2 Rate /Hr: $40/hr
Weekly Stipend: $1,246/week
Additional Benefits:
- $1,140 Orientation Pay for 12 hours (One-Time)
Job Description:
- Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS
- Active Illinois RN License required (or proof of application in progress)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Neuro Med-Surg experience required
- Level I Trauma, previous travel experience, and dedicated Neuro unit experience required (no first-time travelers)
- Experience caring for stroke, spine surgery, seizure, brain tumor, head injury, and neuroscience patients
- Experience with Heparin drip titration required
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- Every other weekend and rotating holiday coverage required
- No call required
- Travelers float in rotation to appropriate Med-Surg units as needed
