Qualifications
Description
HealthCare Support is seeking an experienced NICU Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) for a 13-week travel contract in Birmingham, Alabama, with an ASAP start. This is a day shift assignment working 4x12s (7:00 AM–7:00 PM); 48 hours preferred (36 may be considered).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to neonatal patients in a high-acuity NICU setting
- Manage and monitor advanced ventilation support (including oscillator, conventional vents, and jet ventilation)
- Support neonatal therapies and procedures, including experience with umbilical lines and therapeutic hypothermia
- Collaborate with the NICU team to ensure safe, evidence-based patient care
Requirements
- RRT or CRT accepted
- Minimum 2+ years recent NICU respiratory therapy experience (Level III/IV preferred/required per client)
- Previous travel experience required
- Current BLS, NRP, and PALS (required)
