Location: Fortuna, CA 95540 (another opening is available in Healdsburg, CA)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
Weekly for 40 hours : $2,806 weekly ($25/hr w2 + $1,806 week stipend)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist to join our healthcare team. The Ultrasound Technologist will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and exceptional care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, knowledgeable in ultrasound imaging techniques, and committed to producing accurate diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, small parts, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular (if applicable), and other general imaging studies.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the examination process and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Review physician orders and patient history to ensure appropriate imaging procedures are performed.
• Recognize and document abnormal findings for physician interpretation.
• Maintain accurate patient records and complete documentation in accordance with facility policies.
• Follow infection control, patient safety, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide quality patient care.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained, and functioning properly.

Qualifications:

• 3 year(s) experience required
• ARDMS, BLS
