Description

Overview

Seeking an experienced Med Surg RN to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. This is an EPIC conversion assignment, requiring recent experience with both EPIC and Cerner EMR systems.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care
Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Supervise and support assigned nursing staff
Document accurately using EPIC and Cerner EMR systems

Requirements

Active California RN License
Recent acute care Med Surg experience
EPIC and Cerner experience within the last 5 years (Required)
Candidates must have used both EMR systems as an employee or completed a travel contract
Each work history entry must include the charting system used (with dates if multiple EMRs were used)
No RTO permitted for this assignment

Certifications (Required)

BLS (AHA)
ACLS
NIHSS
