Job Summary

Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join an acute care radiology department in Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong outpatient MRI experience, be proficient with multiple MRI platforms, and provide high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and department protocols.
• Prepare, screen, and position patients for MRI procedures.
• Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety and comfort.
• Document patient information accurately in EPIC and PACS.
• Follow MRI safety standards and infection control guidelines.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Report equipment issues and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of MRI Technologist experience.
• Experience performing outpatient MRI procedures.
• Experience with Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba MRI equipment.
• Experience using EPIC and GE PACS.
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT (R) Certification.
• ARRT (MR) Certification.
• BLS Certification.

• Ability to work 8-hour shifts.
